We would think this would only apply to people who do not know God or have an absence of God but so many Christian find themselves bowing to worry. You might say, "Pastor, nobody worships worry. Nobody bows down to worry." But let me ask you something: What occupies your thoughts more - God's promises or your problems? What gets more of your time and attention - praying about your situation or worrying about your situation? If worry gets more of your attention than worship, if anxiety gets more of your focus than the Bible, then you have made worry your God.
