Christianity Is a Verb

Eph 2:8-10

Vs 8-9 - As soon as you add works to salvation…it becomes a cult.

Whether it is before to "earn" salvation, or after to "keep" your salvation.

A gift cannot be returned. Engagement ring…a gift? Or a contract?

Vs 10 - NOW we are to work. NOW we are to exercise. NOW we become verbs.

We are "created" - Born Again…unto good works.

So what should we be doing? Walking in the good works which God ordained.

"Walk" = To move slowly on the feet; to step slowly along; to advance by steps moderately repeated; Like a typing test…

Eph 4:1 - Paul can no longer "walk". He is a prisoner.

Worthy - a balance between the gift given, the calling and the walk.

Eph 4:17 - Christians cannot walk like lost people. Not like they used to walk.
