Galatians 5:22–23Loading... 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

1 Thessalonians 2:19Loading... 19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

Our joy should not be situational but destinational.

Hebrews 12:2Loading... 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

That means we as christians are meant to live in a state of Joy. “Nobody can be happy all the time”. The opposite of Joy is is not sadness it is dispair. In our words it's depression, it's hopelessness.

Proverbs...

“Buy the truth, and sell it not”
— Proverbs 23:23
