Why aren't the fields white?

John 4:35-36Loading...

This was said by Jesus after his interaction with the woman at the well. He speaks to her and touches her heart and she brings the whole town back to Jesus.

Jesus is saying this while the whole town is coming to Jesus to hear. Look out see the people see those who want to hear the good news.

I think if we were honest we would say: are the fields white unto harvest today? They don't feel like they are. Where are the revivals? Where are the thousands getting saved like in the great awakening or the times of billy graham and billy sunday the like.

Churches are getting smaller and smaller. It seems like there are fewer and fewer new converts. I want to take a look this morning on why. Why aren't the fields white?
