Presenting Ourselves to God

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Throughout the Old Testament, we see a pattern of presenting before God.

Starting in Genesis throughout the Old Testament. I can think about Cain and Abel. How they made an offering before God and God accepted Abel's but had no respect to Cain.

The priests presented offerings. The people presented themselves. The people of God had a habit of recognizing themselves before an Almighty God....
