There's an old saying: "You reap what you sow." We've all heard it. We've all said it. But do we really understand the spiritual principle behind it?

This evening I want to talk to you about sowing and reaping. Not just in the natural world, but in the spiritual realm. Because the Bible teaches us that our lives are like fields, and we're constantly sowing seeds. The question is: What kind of seeds are you planting?

Every day, with every choice we make, we're sowing seeds. Some seeds are visible - everybody can see what we're planting. But many seeds are invisible - hidden in our hearts, our motives, our private thoughts and actions. Yet all of them will produce a harvest.

You can't plant corn and expect to harvest wheat. You can't plant weeds ...
