Matthew 5:18

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Jot is greek for Yod or Jod as in Psalms 119:73

It’s the tenth and smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet. It signifies completeness. And God’s part because the 10th is the Lord’s tithe.

It’s the most used letter in the Hebrew alphabet. Interesting comprising of around 10%-11% of all hebrew letters used in any writing.

It also has a sense of humbleness. When writing it is used to illustrate and bring attention to the small things.

“Buy the truth, and sell it not”
— Proverbs 23:23
