God’s Rewards

Definition: To give in return, either good or evil.

We should desire God’s rewards. God is a rewarder. I want to be like God when the kids are all good in church. I want to reward them. But here is a hint: when they are fighting among each other I want to reward that behavior too.

Hebrews 11:6

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

God’s rewards are not focused on this life this 70-90 years we live here on earth. In fact Paul says if we are just judging christianity based on what we receive in this life we are most miserable. Believing God is = important. Its also important to believe he is Just. He rewards.

“Buy the truth, and sell it not”
— Proverbs 23:23
