John 8:31-36

The apostle Paul was a Roman citizen, yet he rarely mentioned this fact and seemingly cared little about his political status. In comparison to his newfound spiritual freedoms in Christ, Rome meant absolutely nothing to him. This perspective challenges us to consider what we truly value most - our earthly citizenship or our heavenly citizenship.

For close to 200 years, America and Christianity, though not synonymous, were friends working together for the common good. This relationship has dramatically changed in recent decades, and we must understand how to respond biblically to these shifts while maintaining our spiritual freedom in Christ.
