I can certainly see why this is the last in the steps. Because though it has to do with doing for others…it is everything about SELF. Giving with no expectation of receiving anything back.

That's what marriage should be. That's what raising children should be. "After all I've done…"

So you take your faith, clean life, knowledge of the word of God, temperance, patience, godliness and brotherly kindness…and put it into high gear by adding charity to that.

So this is all in chorus. All carefully choreographed by God's Word, HS, and your willingness.
