Why Do We Give?

You come to church and you see this plate being passed around and you see everyone giving and you may ask yourself why we take an offering why we give? Why is this part of our church service? And I want to preach this morning on 4 biblical principals of giving. Now we have a bible that we hold in our hands and it is filled with true stories that happened throughout history between God and man. And the bible is not silent about giving. In fact when Jesus taught he used parables: heavenly stories with an earthly meaning and in the old testament we have stories that teach us about God. Stories that help in our relationship with God.
