Victory

I Cor 15:51-57

I. Victory in death - Wednesday night we taught again on the two natures. The New Nature does not fear illness or death. But the old nature does. Because the Old Nature will not live beyond death. The New Nature will live on throughout eternity.

In Vs 51-52 Paul speaks of the rapture to come.

In 52-54 important to note that after salvation we are still corruptible. (Old Nature)

Vs 55-56 - The question…where is thy sting. The answer - in sin. (Old nature)

The strength of sin is "its terrific and dreadful energy; especially its power to produce alarm in the hour of death." What adds to that fear is when one is lost…the law never helps us have peace!!! Doing this…not doing that!

I Cor 15:57 - VICTORY!!! Do you have it?
