Jude 1:3-4Loading...

Jude is a small book of the Bible, but I like Jude. He is called the brother of James, but James was also the brother of Jesus. So it's interesting - he doesn't say "I was Jesus' brother."

But we know the story. Early on in Jesus' ministry, His brothers didn't believe.

John 7:5Loading...

The Name: Jude is short/Greek for Judah - same name as the tribe, same name as Judas Iscariot (which is why he probably went by Jude).

From the very beginning of this letter, Jude is a hard preacher. He doesn't mess around. He gets straight to the point. And let me say this: Jude was no Calvinist. I'm going to talk about this in a few minutes when we get to "common salvation."

“Buy the truth, and sell it not”
