They throw out their coats for the ass to walk on. Then the bible says they cut down branches for the ass to walk on as straw. That's why they call this Palm Sunday.
People start shouting Hosanna! (adoration, praise, or joy) Son of David! And notice they say: Blessed is he that cometh in the Name of the LORD. This here is of God. Rejoice God is doing something. God is here. This is God's work. This is Jesus the Son of David. He is coming to claim his throne.
They all said it... You might say that's wonderful! Revival in the streets, people turning to God left and right. That's what palm Sunday is all about. But wait there's more to the story.
