Job of the Holy Spirit

But have you ever considered that the Holy Spirit has a job? Jesus Himself told His disciples that it was better for Him to leave so that the Holy Spirit could come and do His work. That's a remarkable statement. Jesus - God in the flesh - said it was actually better for the Comforter to come than for Him to stay physically with them.

The Holy Spirit isn't some mystical force that we can't understand. He is not a feeling or emotion. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, and He has specific jobs to do in this world and in our lives. Just like you and I have work assignments, the Holy Spirit has work assignments from the Father.
