We like the family Christmas cards and the facebook posts. We like the snow and the warm houses the Christmas decorations and the lights. We like the family traditions of cutting down trees, hanging the lights and the memories in the making.

And the business like the money. They like the shopping that happens. I used to do retail marketing and everything around this time of year is geared to take money from people. They like this time of year because they finally are in the black. Amazon is making millions and billions. But none of that is why Jesus came. We try to honor Jesus in the season keep Christ in Christmas. Let's put a cross on our tree and tell the story of the candy cane. But I am going deeper this morning.
