When Jesus says "But..." in verse 32, He's pointing to the ultimate witness - the Father Himself through the Holy Spirit. While human testimony requires multiple witnesses, when God in heaven provides the witness, that testimony stands alone as completely sufficient and absolutely trustworthy. This divine witness carries infinitely more weight than any human testimony could ever possess.
