Introduction The Spirit of Counsel is one of the sevenfold manifestations of the Holy Spirit mentioned in Isaiah 11:2Loading.... It represents God’s guidance and wisdom, directing His people to walk in His ways. However, one of the greatest barriers to receiving the Spirit of Counsel is pride. Pride convinces us that we don’t need God’s guidance, leading to spiritual stagnation and poor decisions. In the bible the word counsel often means advice. But in the bible times many times it was just Kings that had counselors. Many times it was legal counsel that's where we get lawyers today.

Also there were Jews who studied the old testament law and they would be experts in religious law. This really was the basis of even colleges in America; they were all started as bible college...
