Stir Up Remembrance

Peter tells us that we need to be stirred up to remember the Word of God. Be mindful of the words. Bring them to mind. It says spoken by holy prophets but we know that the scriptures of the bible we hold are the words spoken by the prophets. The old testament prophets and the new testament apostles spoke by the Holy Ghost.

We also know that the Word of God the scriptures are given for our benefit. Old and new testament is profitable for the modern day believer. Doctrine, Reproof, Correction, and Instruction.

Reproof/Correction I think I understand why we shy away from the bible sometimes we don't like to hear we are wrong. But as Peter did back then I am going to try to stir up your minds to get back to the word of God.
