Experience plus calling.

Jesus needed help. Jesus needed Disciples. The bible does not talk about to many disciples that said no to Jesus. Peter and Andrew, James and John said yes to the calling. And that is what Jesus did: he called them. He said Follow Me. I wonder if they realized their whole life was going to change and that they were called to do something greater than fish for food.

We know that in fact they were called to be apostles. God has to call men in order to give them to the church for service. But notice the initial call is Just follow me.
