Notice what the Scriptures say in Mark 4:33-34Loading... - that everything was explained to the disciples privately. They had received comprehensive instruction from the Master Teacher himself. Jesus had taken time to ensure His followers understood the parables and principles He had been teaching. This detail is crucial because it establishes that the disciples were not unprepared for what was about to unfold. They had been equipped with knowledge, but now that knowledge would be tested by experience.
