Where are you and where do you stand in the area of divorce and remarriage?

I understand this is a controversial issue. Simply, I believe a divorce person can get remarried in specific circumstances. According to scripture I don’t think I can take a position on either side of the argument. I would have to take it on a case by case basis.

Let’s look at all the times divorce is found in the bible.

The First Marriage:

Genesis 2:18

18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

“Buy the truth, and sell it not”
— Proverbs 23:23
