Marriage: In the Beginning.

God created the earthly institution for the basis of a healthy family unit. A separation from the parents into a new entity.

Marriage was a solution for a problem: It was not good for man to be alone. Gen 2:18

Marriage was made for man: not man made for marriage.

When a man leaves & cleaves They become one FLESH they have an earthly union. Gen 2:24

In the perfect design there should be no separation In the garden Adam & Eve would have lived together forever on earth. Jesus said: What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. This explains that it should not be separated however it can be separated by man. Matt 19:4
