Stay Away From Darkness

We're in that time of year again. You can't go into a store without seeing decorations of witches, ghosts, skeletons, and all manner of darkness. Houses are decorated to look like haunted mansions. People dress up in costumes celebrating death, horror, and the occult. And we're told it's all just innocent fun for the kids.

But I want to ask you this evening: Is it really just innocent fun? Or is there something deeper going on that we as Christians need to understand?
