I Sam 9-10

God very often calls us long before He uses us. Saul is a young man that has gone out in search of his father's lost asses. He ultimately comes to the Prophet Samuel who says: in 9:20

Saul clearly understands what is said in verse 21

Now, privately, Samuel shows what God has in store for Saul Vs 27

Then anoints him for his new calling. in 10:1

This is some time in your life when you promised God you would do something.

Can you remember broken promises to Him? But sincere at the time.

So God gives Saul three proofs of his calling that will come to pass.

1. 10:2 2. 10:3 a. a peaceful bidding and b. provisions in 10:4 3. 10:5-6

These all come to pass exactly as prophesied. Hasn't God always kept His promis...
