God speaks to Jeremiah in a time of trouble. Jeremiah is referred to as a prophet of doom/weeping prophet. In Jeremiah 16 God tells Jeremiah the difficulties and hardships that will come to the land. In this time God also speaks to Jeremiah on his importance and what he ought to do. Jeremiah was a younger man and he had strengths and weaknesses.
