Dad Letters

Dad, First and foremost, please know that I love you deeply and support you no matter what. My love is not contingent upon whether you do what you want—it’s steadfast and unconditional. That being said, we both know that the very best thing that can ever happen in this life is for God’s perfect will to be done. It’s not our desire to hinder His plan in any way. But we also understand that not every good or well-intended desire is necessarily part of God’s plan for our lives. None of us wish for sickness or death, yet these things come—and how we respond to them matters greatly.
