Luke 15:11–32

11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:

We always call this parable the parable of the prodigal son that's our title. Notice Jesus title the two sons. So which one is more important. Neither. Who is this story about? Both sons.

If we want to understand this parable we need to recognize the truth Jesus is imparting. The certain man in this parable represents God. And the relationship that is represented is a family a father with two sons. There are some important things to help us understand the concepts.

If we are saved this morning we are a child of God.
