The Oneness of God

Deuteronomy 6:4

4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

We serve the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The same yesterday, today and forever. The jews have finally in there history grasped that there is only one God. Throughout the generations they a went after other nations Gods. But this verse has been an anthem to modern jews.

They call it the Shama. Its the most important jewish prayer like the lords prayer to Chrstians. From that verse we understand it as the Idea of monotheism. Meaning there is only one God. The Lord is One. As christians we do believe in monotheism.

“Buy the truth, and sell it not”
— Proverbs 23:23
