As we journey through life, we find ourselves asking different questions at different seasons. In our youth, we wonder who we will marry and how many children we will have. As parents, we seek wisdom for properly raising our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Later, we face the responsibilities of caring for aging parents, and eventually the responsibility of being aging parents ourselves. For those in ministry, this includes the challenge of being an aging pastor, faithfully stewarding the calling God has given. Through every season of life, Scripture remains our only reliable guide, directing our steps from youth to old age.
