Anger and Wrath
James 1:19–20
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
Human Anger
Why Do We Get Angry?
Anger is a complex emotion, and people may experience it for different reasons. Here are some key causes of anger:
Unmet Expectations
One of the primary reasons for anger is unmet expectations. When people expect something to happen, whether it's how others treat them or how life should go, and those expectations aren't fulfilled, anger can arise.
Injustice or Unfairness
Anger often surfaces when we perceive something as unfair or unjust. When someone is wronged, either directly or indirectly, it’s natural to feel angry. This type of anger can stem from both personal slights and from seeing injustice in the world.
