Vs 2 - Pharisees/scribes mock Him. "receiveth sinners"

Vs 3 - Explanation - whether lost or saved Jesus loves you.

God is always where He needs to be to help you and I.

II. He meets with sinners because some are running away unknowingly Vs 4-7

One writer says it is normal that a sheep, lost will bleat out for the flock as it runs in the wrong direction.

Jesus is out meeting with sinners and publicans because they are looking for truth while running in the wrong direction.

Many Christians today are out in the world, seeking peace, while living in confusion.
