More Than Overcomers

Revelation - Overcomers We are going through the 7 churches of Revelation on Wednesday night. But we came to this promise to the overcomers. And I thought about our life and how we are in essence as Christians overcomers.

Everyone likes the movies where the star defies all odds and overcomes in the end. This morning I want to look at what the bible says about being an overcomer. What does it mean to overcome? To conquer, to have victory. To surmount imagine if you would that there was a mountain and you wanted to climb to the top and you did you have climbed over you have overcome that obstacle.

Definition of Overcome:

1. To conquer; to vanquish; to subdue; as, to overcome enemies in battle.
2. To surmount; to get the better of; as, to overcome difficulties or obstacles.
