Ephesians 2:14-22Loading...

First of all we need to perfectly understand what this verse is speaking of. It is not a wall between man and God, but between Jew and Gentile. The wall referenced here was both literal and spiritual - there was an actual wall in the temple that separated the Court of the Gentiles from the inner courts where only Jews could enter. But more significantly, this represents the spiritual and social barriers that existed between these two groups of people.

Verses 1-9 deal specifically with salvation - how we are saved by grace through faith, not by works. This foundational truth applies to all people, regardless of their ethnic background or heritage. The gospel message is universal in its scope and power to transform lives.

“Buy the truth, and sell it not”
— Proverbs 23:23
