Matthew 1:21

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

This is not the most christmassy of messages. As we would see it. But I truly believe this is the true meaning of Christmas. You see we have made christmas about we like. Well we like gathering with friends and family so that's what Christmas is about. We like giving and receiving gifts, we like to see the joy on our children's faces and we like the surprise when they see what they have gotten. We like the food and cookies and the celebration. We like the parties and the extra bonuses from work.
