Acknowledging Sin

1 John 1:8Loading... If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Everyone sins. Acknowledge that!

We will be tempted in relationship to the life we live too.

I. So First of all we all sin!

II. Vs 9 One thing to have it, an entirely different thing to acknowledge it.

Confess - to disclose faults. There is a sorrow implied.

Proverbs 28:13Loading... He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Nothing can be accomplished until we stop covering our sins and confess them.

I have preached hard on sin, knowing a couple in the congregation live together, they walk out hand in hand. Smiling and telling me it was a good sermon.
