The account of the wise men is found only in the Book of Matthew.
Vs 1 - Wise men = Scientists from the orient.
From the East = From the rising sun. (Son). Mark 16:2Loading... And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. Coming, some believe from Arabia, Persia, and India.
One writer even narrows it down to the area of Kandahar. Too bad the rejected Him.
Their path following the star took them through Jerusalem.
Vs 2-3 - Herod is troubled. "King of the Jews" Republican debates!!!
Vs 4-6 - They understood the prophecies concerning "Christ". Seem to quote Micah 5:2Loading....
