It's curious that the "stranger" knows Sarah's name but asks about her location. This apparent contradiction reveals something important about God's testing methods. God often asks questions not because He lacks knowledge, but because He wants to reveal something to us or test our responses. The visitor's knowledge of Sarah's name would have immediately caught Abraham's attention, signaling that this was no ordinary encounter.
