I. God's Creation Will Always Do Its Duty (verses 1-6)

The natural world serves as God's first revelation to mankind, consistently and faithfully declaring His glory without fail. David begins this psalm by establishing that all of creation operates as a divine testimony, speaking continuously of God's majesty and power.

Verses 1-2 reveal that the primary duty of the sun is not to warm us or provide light for our daily activities, though it certainly does these things.
