Throughout our nation's history, from WWI and WWII to conflicts in recent decades, our great grandfathers, grandfathers, fathers, husbands, sons and daughters have served, been wounded, and died to preserve the rights we enjoy today. Yet sadly, we think nothing of their sacrifice. We exercise our constitutional rights without pausing to consider the blood that was shed to secure them.
Consider the right to bear arms, enshrined in our Second Amendment.
