THE OTHER SIDE OF GOD: WHY WE NEED GRACE Proverbs 3:34Loading... "Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly." This morning I want to look at the other side of God. We preach so often on his amazing grace. Saving grace. The grace of God that rescued us from sin and death and hell. If you're saved this morning, you've found grace. You've experienced God's love. You've felt His mercy. You know what it's like to be forgiven. But I wonder if we've forgotten why we needed grace in the first place. If we don’t recognize a just and mighty God. If we take his gift for granted. We sing "Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me." But do we really understand what we were saved from? We talk about being saved.
