What Is Baptism
Why do we baptize? Jesus was baptized. Jesus commanded the church to baptize in the name of Jesus It is the first step in obedience. It is an outward picture of the change that happened on the inside. You are saying I have decided to follow Jesus.
Who do we baptize? Not Babies Believers only (Only people who believed in the gospel of Jesus.) People who have a desire to follow Jesus. You only need to be scripturally baptized once
How do we baptize? In the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit. On profession of belief in Jesus Christ By emersion, fully submerged in water (That's what the word baptized means) Under the authority of a Baptist Church When you are baptized by this church you become a member.
